Welcome to
6 WEEK INTRO to pilates COURSES
Learn the fundamentals of Pilates in this 6 week introductory course, comprising of 6 x 55 minute sessions.
Each session is delivered at the same time and day for 6 consecutive weeks (see course dates for time and day).
Our courses are delivered in a group setting of no more than 4 participants.
What you will learn:
Intro level exercises across multiple pieces of apparatus, including Reformer, Mat, Tower and High Chair.
How to safely use the apparatus.
The principles of Pilates.
We will guide you through the exercises ensuring you understand the how's and why's of each one.
You will leave with a solid foundation of the method to easily join a group class after the 6 weeks.

Founder & Full Comprehensive Classical Teacher
Victoria has over 6 years of teaching experience and a lifetime of movement experience, having previously trained in dance & musical theatre.
Her passion is deeply rooted in understanding, appreciating and celebrating how marvellous our bodies truly are!

Hazel
Matwork & Reformer Teacher
Hazel has years of teaching experience, beginning with Yoga and then transitioning to Pilates. She is currently undergoing her Full Comp training with Pi Studios.
She brings a calm and nurturing element to her classes, celebrating all your little wins!

Aoife
Full Comprehensive Classical Teacher
Aoife has been teaching Pilates since 2021 first with Matwork and later undertaking her full comprehensive, both with renowned Pi Studios, London.
She brings a focused attention to detail in her classes, allowing you to discover layers within the method.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

After the course you will have a solid foundation of what Pilates is, the ‘how’s’ and ‘why’s’ behind each exercises.
You will be welcome to jump into any of our group classes on the schedule. Depending on how you feel you could stick with some Intro level classes to continue deepening your knowledge of the foundations, or challenge yourself by jumping into progression level classes where you will build on your intro work and start to increase the amount of exercises and your stamina within the work.
Your teacher will discuss with you on your final session what option would be a good fit for you.

If you will miss one week (apart from the very first week) we are happy to enrol you as you can easily pick up the 1-2 new exercises you will learn, however if you are likely to miss more than 1 session we would suggest waiting for the next enrolment or start your journey with our other beginner options like a private session or intro level weekly classes.

If you are dealing with injury we would suggest booking a private session first (all new clients receive a welcome discount for first session) as we can then assess whether the group setting would be a good fit for you.
