Pilates is for everyone, in every stage of life!

The beauty of Pilates is that you can practice it your ENTIRE life!

What I’ve learnt from practicing it for many years, and meeting all my incredible clients around Norwich is that it can mould to what you need from the practice on any given chapter of your life, and any given day!

It’s not just something for you when you’re young and able or even old and unstable.

It’s for all stages of your life and it will guide you through all the different milestones that your beautiful body takes you through.

From helping you achieve that 10km run, to building your deep strength after childbirth, to keeping your joints well oiled when you grow older.

Pilates is there for you every step of the way!

The idea behind Pilates is that it can effectively be adapted to you each and every time you practice.

The Pilates Matwork repertoire has 34 classical exercises, however these can be broken down where needed or even alternative exercises can be delivered that have a similar effect. In the hopes of building your strength and knowledge to reach the full repertoire.

On the apparatus you can move between different pieces depending on what your body needs that day. For instance need to open your hips and back, get on the cadillac and do leg springs. Need to align some imbalances, get on the reformer and use the shoulder pieces, foot bar and springs to help you regain balance.

Pilates is so marvellous for EVERY body that it simply should be introduced into every person’s daily routine. Even 10 minutes a day can help to alleviate general aches, build strength and help avoid injuries.

So the question is, when will you begin Pilates?
